Welcome to the space where I let it all out—faith, fear, healing, humor, and the occasional Disney Channel Original Movie quote. This isn’t just a blog. It’s where I’m learning to get curious—with myself, with the world, and with the stories we all carry.
A recent self-portrait, taken by my husband Andrew Kosky while we were exploring Fall Creek Falls State Park in Cumberland County, Tennessee.
This is real all right.
“This is real, this is me, I’m exactly who I’m supposed to be now gonna let the light SHINE ON ME.” —A classic from the Camp Rock vault (bless you, DCOM)
Well if that ain’t a good start, I don’t know what is. Welcome to my space. This is it.
Not much to see except my story. My experience. My full faith journey (currently and always being transformed).
This is my place to cry and yell and scream and scratch. My place to heal, to seek understanding, to listen and soothe.
The Journey I’m On
Right now, I’m on a journey to find “home.” To find myself.
To learn to let go. To learn to “Let them” (pop off, Mel Robbins). To embrace the arena with courage (pop off Brene Brown—and my main man, Theodore Roosevelt). To heal my inner child. To tell my story—and hopefully someday, to tell the stories of others.
Why stories? They’re what make us who we are. And for the ones curious enough to lean in, they offer insight into who we are and why we are.
Curiosity > Judgment
Have you seen Ted Lasso on Apple TV+? If not—subscribe immediately and watch. Seriously. It’s that good. It’s one of those rare shows that can actually shift your perspective.
There’s this one episode (Season 1, Episode 8—The Diamond Dogs) where Ted is playing darts against Rupert, the owner of the rival team. He’s calm, cool, collected—and right before landing a perfect bullseye, he says:
“All them fellas that used to belittle me, not a single one of them were curious. So they judged everything, and they judged everyone.”
-Ted Lass
And just like that, I had a new life motto:
Be curious, not judgmental.
– Walt Whitman
That’s the phrase I’m carrying with me into this season of life. That’s the mindset I want to pass along.

A Little Side Quest
Oh—before I forget. Other great Apple TV+ shows you should check out:
Now here’s the thing: My whole life has been one long judge fest. And the prime suspect? Me.
My inner critic? Loud and proud. She’s got a microphone in my brain and zero chill.
But I’m learning—slowly—not to shut her up, but to invite her in. To give her a warm meal. A glass bottle of Diet Coke (recent addiction—okay, I get the hype). And say:
“Hey, you’re safe here. You don’t need to yell.”
Because maybe—just maybe—if I get curious with myself, I can quiet the judgment long enough to get curious with others.
Why I’m Here
That’s why I’m writing. That’s why I’m sharing. That’s why I’m showing up in this little corner of the internet.
I hope you’ll come along. Maybe you’ll find something here: a new book obsession, a drink to sip, a hobby to learn, or a moment that slows time down.
Whatever you do—I hope you stay. And I hope you enjoy this crazy ride with me.
If you’re figuring it out as you go, just like me—you’re in the right place. Hit subscribe, drop a comment, or just come back when you need a friend in the mess.
